Life Has Its Seasons
Once upon a time, this was me…
I fell in love with the triathlon when I first caught the Kona Ironman race on TV. As I watched both seasoned athletes and everyday heroes cross the finish line, tears streamed down my face. I was inspired but filled with doubt. Could I, Lisa, really achieve such a feat?
I got started and with the right coaching, the right training, and a good bit of daily devotion, I discovered what a marvel the human body is. We can go further and faster than you ever thought possible when nourished and properly trained and rested. Slowly but steadily, I grew stronger, endured longer, and that unforgettable moment arrived—I too crossed the Ironman finish line.
Rock Bottom
This was my rock bottom. The most unhealthy time of my life.
